Are Your Spools Slipping?

Slipping spools can cause avoidable downtime and excess wear on O-rings. Preventing this is simple with two conveyor accessories: black keyed spools and plastic C-clips.

Black keyed spool were created for curves, inclines, or greater drive conveyors. These spools sport a key within the midsection, which aligns with the ridge on keyed line shafts. By aligning the spool key with the line shaft ridge, slipping spools are virtually eliminated.

Plastic C-clips were created to preventing slipping spools and the premature wearing of O-rings. These C-clips are shaped as a half circle, creating a simple installation. Placing a C-clip on either side of each spool is a certain way to prevent unnecessary conveyor downtime.

Employee Tennis Outing
