What are Split Spools?

Split spools can save an immense amount of downtime. These two-piece spools can simply be situated around the line shaft and clicked together. Once connected, these spools will not come back apart until it is time to replace them. We also offer a split, speed-up spool, which can increase your roller speed by up to 44%.

When purchasing spools, it is strongly recommended to also purchase plastic C-clips. C-clips are meant to be placed on either side of your spool to prevent unnecessary movement along the line shaft. By preventing this unnecessary movement, you are also preventing premature wearing and/or breakage of your O-rings.
