Use Ironer Guide Tape to Prevent Snags and Backups
With our ironer guide tape, you can prevent any backups or snags in your ironing operations. However, you need to make sure you’re using the correct guide tape for your ironing machines based on temparature.
Here’s the list of the three types of zip tape we carry:
1. Polyester guide tape
- Manufactured for steam ironing machines (up to 350°F)
- Available in 1/2” and 3/4” width
2. Aramid guide tape
- Designed to be used in thermal or gas ironing machines (up to 425°F)
- Available in 1/2” and 3/4” width
3. Blended guide tape
- Made from a combination of aramid and polyester materials – this is a less expensive alternative to Aramid that works just as well.
- Can be used in gas or thermal ironers (up to 425°F)
- Available in 5/8′′ width
